Rewati Chetri was crowned Senorita Miss International India 2016 on Sunday, September 11. The 23-year-old model will compete in Miss International 2016 pageant to be held in Tokyo, Japan next month.
REWATI Chetri from Guwahati, Assam defeated 16 other contestants to bag the crown of Senorita India 2016. Grand finale of Senorita India 2016 took place on 11th of September 2016 at Novotel Hotel in Pune, Maharashtra. Rewati will represent India at the Miss International 2016 pageant which will take place next month in Tokyo, Japan.
23 years old Rewati is not a newbie in the world of pageantry. Rewati was a contestant at Femina Miss India 2015, wherein she made it to the Top 10 finalists and also won the Miss Popular Special Award. Rewati has also represented India at World Miss University, wherein she was titled as Miss Asia. Rewati grew up in a small town of Haflong, Assam and attended her schooling from St. Agnes’ Convent High School, Haflong and graduated in commerce degree from Lumding College, Lumding. At the same pageant, Aarushi Sharma was crowned as Miss Intercontinental India 2016 and will now represent India at Miss Intercontinental 2016 pageant to be held in Sri Lanka next month.
